Ways to contribute to UJA

Annual Campaign
The London UJA Annual Campaign is an incredibly responsive grassroots effort dedicated to strengthening and supporting our Jewish community from the ground up. The London UJA Annual Campaign locally supports over 35 programs and services of the London Jewish community, while globally it helps connect Jews who are making Aliyah, and aids individuals in distress in Israel and around the world.

The annual UJA Campaign helps to fund the London Community Hebrew Day School and the Hebrew schools at all three Synagogues.

Ways To Give

Gift of Securities
Donating publicly traded stock and securities is a tax-smart way to support the London UJA Annual Campaign.  You will receive a tax receipt for the full appreciated value of a donation of publicly traded stock or securities, and as of May 2, 2006, you are no longer subject to any capital gains tax.

The London UJA office can help guide you through the process and provide the necessary documentation and information required to complete the transfer.  Please contact the JCC (519) 673-3310 for assistance.

Planned Giving
A gift today to the London UJA Endowment Fund, under the management of the London Jewish Community Foundation, will allow you to be there for your family, your community, and the Jewish people whenever help is needed. There are many simple and meaningful ways to make a gift for the future.

Charitable Bequests
A Charitable Bequest is an easy and thoughtful way to leave a legacy. Whether it is a set dollar amount or a percentage of your estate, a bequest in your will can allow you to make a meaningful legacy gift.

Gift of Life Insurance
Life insurance is an advantageous way to fund an endowment at a modest current cost. You may purchase a new policy designating the London UJA as owner and beneficiary, or transfer an existing policy to London UJA.

Gift of RRSPs or RRIFs
Pension plans can be subject to high taxes when left in your estate. This makes them ideal for transfer in.

Charitable Gift Annuity
A Charitable Gift Annuity is an easy option that provides you and/or your spouse or beneficiary a fixed sum each year for life, while leaving a permanent legacy after death, whole or in part to the London UJA.

Charitable Remainder Trusts
A Charitable Remainder Trust is an effective way to provide you with income during your lifetime. After your lifetime, the property remaining in the trust will be invested in the London UJA Endowment Fund.

Perpetual Annual Campaign Endowment (PACE)
With a Perpetual Annual Campaign Endowment (PACE) you can endow your gift to the London UJA Annual Campaign and guarantee future support for critical programs and services in the Jewish community. With a PACE gift, your generous annual gift will be there forever.

To discuss your gift in strict confidence, please contact the JCC (519) 673-3310 for assistance.
